I've never met a muumuu I didn't like, maybe that's why I've always had a soft spot for Mrs. Roper and her eye-catching caftans (or should I call them hostess gowns like the fancy set do). All I know is that in my next life, I'm coming back as Mrs. Roper's glamorous cousin Edie and I'm coming back in THIS gown.

Time for some truth telling, I never thought that I would still be occasionally battling middle age acne and oily skin fit for a freshman. It's not all bad since the oilier your skin is naturally, the less wrinkles one acquires, so it's a trade off that I can usually live with if I have the right products in my back pocket. This lightweight moisturizer is one of the BEST that I've ever tried and it has become my go-to.

I initially picked up this facial steamer on an nostalgic whim. Regularly steaming your face was a standard step of any proper lady's beauty routine during the 20th century and facial steaming has recently seen a resurgence with all the GOOP talk about steaming different parts of your body for balance and deep cleansing. I'll pass on the steaming of my lower regions (sorry Gwynnie) but I've been using this on a nightly basis and it definitely super-charges your skin's ability to absorb whatever serums or potions you apply in the evening.

I've been on a forever quest to find the PERFECT pinkish lippie, one that is basically a rosy version of the nude hues that everyone is wearing (and maybe shouldn't) and I think my life's work has come to an end with this one aptly name 'Afterglow'. (I will try to put this as gently as I can, if you're over 40 and not JLO, most of those nude shades make you look like you've covered your mouth with foundation and not in a good way, sorry Charlie)

I've been dying to cut my hair into a pixie ever since I recently came across some stunning pics of Cassandra Grey (the bossbabe behind Violet Grey) sporting her very own ice-cool pixie cut. What holds you back you say? The fine, straight, volume-less hair I was genetically burdened with that I have a feeling will make me look less Cassandra Grey and more like Moe from the Three Stooges. But sometimes you have to take what the good Lord gave you and work it into what you've been praying for so I took a cue from Mrs. Grey and tried a few of the products she recommends  (this and this) along with this fabulous dry texture spray I stumbled across on my own and drumroll please, I have created my very own perfect VOLUME trifecta.
What you hear now are angels singing and me ringing up my stylist! 💕
