Dear Diary,

     skipped out early this afternoon and decided to surprise the kiddies with Mumsy picking them up from school! Definitely needed a few moments of solitude today and a quick run at the swings sure did the trick!
I have always loved the absolute peace of the playground right before school lets out, a gentle silence before the storm and storm is the key word here since rain has been making brief appearances throughout the day building up to a what is expected to be a downpour. The kind of summer shower that I love, dark skies and still air before thunderous crackles!
