Look of the Day: Catherine, The Duchess of Cambridge

Catherine, The Duchess of Cambridge, looked every inch the princess at the Epsom Derby in Epsom, England on June 4, 2011. The Duchess, in a slightly more mature look than what we usually see from her, looked absolutely lovely in a bone hued, collarless jacket and matching dress with sheer skirt. She paired a gold clutch and nude patent leather platform pumps with the summery suit and who could miss that structured straw beret in a mushroom tone.
No confirmed word yet as to the origins of any of the pieces (possibly jacket by Joseph Nessie, dress by Reiss and shoes by LK Bennett?).

What do you think of The Duchess of Cambridge's Look of the Day?

That's a very gorgeous yet simple dress - very feminine and understated.

Let us just hope and pray that this class act is never marred by scandal. Let them be media sharks!

I love it! I'm a big fan of Kate's style.

She does look very feminine but I agree that the look is just a bit too mature.

I wonder how quickly that ensemble will sell out!

Best wishes,
Natasha.

Kate has such elegance and style! I'm afraid that I add to the demand for the paparazzi's pictures because I lap up any and all new photographs of her!

I don't know... I just don't love it. The had and the dress do not go together... and it ages her a great deal. Not one of Kate's bests...

My heart does a flip every time I glimpse her ring....
I was such a fan of Diana.

She is so lovely...I so want those shoes!

She always looks lovely, but wish she'd go lighter with the black eyeliner. Also a dress that matched her hat would give a little more visual weight to flighty skirt so to better balance the jacket and to pull the whole ensemble together.

She's always a beauty but I think this hat does make her look older and a little matronly ... so unlike her usual young chic self!

Two words... TOTAL CLASS!

Gorgeous! It's ok that it's a bit mature. I think she's in an experimental phase right now to get into a fashion grove that she feels comfortable with.

Ugh.....she bores me soooo much! She's like a non-fat decaf latte. Safe, bland and not news worthy. Her hat was well...a hat, I cannot embellish something as common as what was on her head. Why oh why couldn't William have trotted down to Monaco and swept Charlotte Casiraghi off her gorgeous and stylish royal feet??!! :( There's something so generic about Kate, she maybe be a duchess, but her style will always be common.
